Mondays September 18, 25-Your Mac and You-Finally, a class just for Mac users! You'll learn the Mac way of doing things (which is much simpler than Windows), including email, photos, cool apps, music, iCloud, backing up, and much more! Time: 1:00pm-3:00pm

Thursday September 7-Retiree Benefit Overview -Join us for an open discussion regarding benefits, Medicare, supplemental benefits or any questions you have. A complete benefit overview of the supplemental benefits will be provided along with a general question and answer session of all benefits.Time: 11:00am -1:00 pm  Light Lunch


Thursday September 7 -Medicare & You-Do you have questions about Medicare?  Is this the year you turn 65? Come in and we will explain everything you need to know.  A representative from the Dept. of Aging will be here to discuss Medicare A, B and D. Refreshments will be served.

Friday September 8-10-Bus Trip Washington DC Sold-Out!!!

Wednesday September 13-Bus Trip-Apple Picking, BBQ Chicken Lunch and Wine Tasting-BBQ lunch at Weeds Farm located in Marlboro, NY, pick apples from the tree or bins, take a hayride, wine tasting or just sit and enjoy the country side. Departure time 9:00am sharp! Approximate return time: 6:00 pm Price: $65.00 Includes lunch, wine tasting, and a half bushel of apples!


Thursday September 14- Benefit Review: Dental Benefits from CWA Local 1180-Join us for an overview of the Dental Plans offered by CWA Local 1180.  There are two plans to choose from, CWA Local 1180 Scheduled Dental  Plan and Dentcare HealthPlex, Which one do you have?  Come and find out more. Time: 11:00 -1:00 pm  Refreshments provided.

Wednesday September 20-Even More Microsoft Powerpoint - Part 3-In Part 2 we started with the “fun” stuff (making slideshows), so we’ll continue with these. Then after a very brief review of the basics. We'll learn how to add sound effects, narration, and how to share via email, and post online.


Wednesday September 27-Turn your Memories into Movies! (Part 2)-Have a lot of photos and videos just sitting there on your phone or computer? Breath new life into them by adding titles, animation, music and narration to create your own personalized movies that look (almost) professional. It’s big FUN!  We will be use online/cloud software so that no matter what device you have, you can participate. NOTE: You are to BRING your photos to class (on a USB thumb drive, or CD/DVD or your smartphone). Also, you need to have basic familiarity with computers/smartphones, and you MUST KNOW your email address and password. Time:10:00am-2:00pm


Wednesday September 27-Advanced Cardiovascular Diagnostics-Life savings test for heart attack, stroke and aneurysms. Most major insurances accepted. Please bring your insurance card. Time: 10:30am-5:00pm Lunch will be served. Call for an appointment at  516-488-5050.

Thursday September 28-A Travel-Tale of Two Cities: Lambertville, NJ and New Hope, PA-A gathering of antiques shops, eclectic galleries and comfortable eateries clustered on the banks of the scenic Delaware River makes Lambertville a delightful town to tour, and it's only a short, pleasant stroll across the Delaware River to its sister town, New Hope, in historic Bucks County, PA. It offers similar attractions and scenic views from the other side. (For more info, go to and type Cozy Lambertville in the search box.) We are traveling via Trans-Bridge Bus Lines ( ROUND TRIP FARE: $48.95 (adults), $25.80 (seniors). Meet at Port Authority Bus Terminal (41st. st.& 8th. Ave) at 8:30am to buy tickets, and catch the 9:00am bus to Lambertville. (Return bus departs at 1:55pm). Must RSVP!
